   The Refractor Crayford Focuser  Adapter Bushing (not shown) has an outside diameter that will fit most 80 & 90 imported refractor tubes. Like Synta, & Orion for example. There is a tapered base that the adapter plates tighten onto using 3 set screws. So the focuser stays tight & secure on your OTA. one adapter bushing is included in the cost of this focuser, for the Antares refractors. You'll need to specify what Antares refractor this focuser will be used on if ordering this focuser with the "add to Cart" button below. Otherwise the standard adapter plate for an 80-90 mm refractor will be included. The base is drilled & tapped for 3, M4 screws. Weighs 1.5 lbs. 

    Adapter bushings are available for larger diameter tubes see above. These can be bought separately, or substituted for the standard 80-90 mm refractor bushing when you specify such at the time you place your order.

Finally you can upgrade your Stock Synta R&P focuser on your Synta refractor.  These adapter rings are precision machined from Aluminum, anodized black, and includes 3 matching tube holes, and 3 Crayford mounting holes also, and 3 sets of mounting screws to mount your Crayford focuser. 

   Each adapter bushing fits the Antares FOC2CR the adapter rings measure 86.5mm on the focuser end, and has 3 mounting holes to attach your Antares Crayford to the adapter ring.

   This high quality reflector Crayford focusers base is 3.5" square. The entire focuser weighs 1.4 lbs. The mounting hole pattern is 2-3/4" x 2-7/8".  This means that this Crayford focuser will fit most imported 8, 10 and 12" Newtonians or Dobsonians with no modifications needed by the end user.  

FOC2L

   The FOC2L A nice lower profile Newtonian 2" rack & pinion focuser made from cast aluminum. It's total weight is 1.25 lbs. The housing is already Teflon shimmed, and Lithium grease is used, so no "Synta glue" here. The racked in height is 2.5". The draw tube travel is 1.75". The I.D. of the draw tube is 2.25", and is painted flat black. A 2.25" - 2." adapter is included (on focuser in image) and a 2" -1.25" adapter is also included. A focus lock screw is used to lock the draw tube for imaging. The base measures 3.5" square. The mounting screws are 2-13/16" x 3"as best as I can measure. A dust plug is included.
